they aren't the same type of scorer, besides when was the last time you say the caps consistently work the boards to create plays? His best assist guy is a little swede that gets knocked off the puck with ease

Since you have TWO goals to make up, how about going 6-4 for a minute and try to punch one in. Then you can use the normal go-to plan for the final 2 minutes while down by one.

I hate the way many coaches utilize the goalie-pull.

Oates needs to go. Bottom line. His answer to our lack of offense? "Get it behind the net and get the forecheck going"... so in other words, give them the puck and hope for a turnover. Brilliant!
