Does anyone know if Roy and Pominville played together in Buffalo? If MG was smart, he would stay away from Clowe's 0 goals and his contract extention and move on to Pominville.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Higgins - Kesler - Hansen
Raymond - Roy - Pominville
Weise - Lapierre - Kassian

Would look real solid going into the playoffs.

Well adding Roy, and Kesler as well, should be a HUGE improvement for the offense.

i like the roy deal, it's a good trade but honestly, if you plugged all the holes in the lineup it would take a year to get the team chemistry sorted out and you'd still have the problem of a stale coach and **** system that every opponent has figured out. i'm going to be shocked if this team gets past the first round no matter how many deals are made between now and noon tomorrow.

True. Although anything is an improvement. If we want to seriously go for it then we need to add a legitimate scorer.

Roy will be the 3rd highest scoring player on our roster this year.. I'd say that Roy move helps the cause.

- Boyes
- Morris
- Torres
- Pominville
- Stafford

Stafford has been such a plug in recent years. Some Sabres fans have said that its a deployment issue, but I think he has an attitude problem to go along with his very average skillset.

I don't want Clowe at a high price, I just don't think he's worth it. Would rather target McBain who could be a great complement to Edler.
