That was a pretty extraordinary gut check game for the Sharks there. Losing Simek like that and having to play 5 d-men most of the game against a very good team like the Jets on the back end of a back-to-back. So naturally, they will lose on Thursday to Florida. lol

The 4th Winnipeg goal was another thing that could've been a real back-breaker but it wasn't.

Have the Sharks even beaten Florida since Boughner became their coach? Boogie needs to stop being a jerk and help us out.

What a buzzer beater for the win!

Devils AHL team currently up 4-3 on the Devils, but I wish I could say I had faith they'd pull this off.

I am still pretty upset about Simek. Really like the guy and he has played so hard this year. Terrible to go down like that.

Yeah, that's pretty deflating. He's been a solid player this season.

Hopefully Joakim Ryan can shake off the rust easily. The depth on this team is unprecedented. It's amazing how they're down a top 6 forward and a top 2 d-man and the brand of hockey doesn't change much at all.

The only team that legit worries me in the playoffs is Vegas. The depth we have is unrivalled in the west

I agree with this. We'll have to see how the Sharks look against Vegas with Stone. I'm not sure that is enough for Vegas. These past few games this team is back-checking like crazy and really playing up-tempo and physical in all zones. A healthy Kane and Thornton might be enough.

Calgary does not have the depth to compete with the Sharks. Their blue-line is an injury away from falling apart and Kane, Hertl, and Meier are going to punish Giordano every chance they get. Hell, they are going to punish any team over a 7 game series.

Winnipeg reminds me of past Sharks teams. To me, they are a top heavy contender bolstered by a top power play. Even with Big Buff and Morrissey, this Sharks team destroys them 5 on 5. Is Nashville better? I am honestly not sure.

This team also matches up incredibly well with Tampa...the Sharks should be able to handle Boston and Toronto. If the goal-tending holds up, DW
