WC 2022 qualifying scheduled to start next week after delays. Canada will start vs Bermuda on March 25th. 4 matches (single round robin) and only first place advances. So not much room for error.

Canada draws against Haiti. Sitting at 4 points right now. Would be nice to finish first and play the US in the semi instead of Mexico.

Canada will be the underdog in either matchup but it would be nice to avoid the host Mexico.

Honduras and El Salvador also drew. So Canada and Honduras are tied at 4 points but Honduras has the edge on GD.

Canada/Honduras will play on Thursday. A draw would get Canada into the SF but a win would take the group. A loss and it will depend on the other match.

Mexico beat the US yesterday in Olympic qualifying, so Mexico is 1st in their group with US 2nd. It's a crossover SF.

At this point Canada can finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd. A win against Honduras and they get 1st. A draw they get 2nd. A loss and they could still stay in second depending on the other match but could also drop to 3rd and be eliminated on GD.

WCQ also kicks off tonight against Bermuda. Only 3 group matches so they are all important. No excuse if they don't get 3 points tonight.
