C Ty Dellandrea - Flint Firebirds, OHL (2018, 13th, DAL)

Has anyone watched Ty this season? Only has 1 point in 8 games in the AHL this season.

It's crazy to think but in 2-3 years it is not all that unlikely that people view Veleno as the 2nd best center in the draft.

And while I consider him a great pick at 30, I don't consider him to have all that high of a ceiling. Bad draft for Centers

Not quite understanding what's happening with Dellandrea.
Always thought he was picked too high. But what I saw of him last year made me a believer.
He had speed. He had good defensive instincts. He could gain the line with possession.
The Stars are a mess of a franchise. They had a Cinderella run to the SCF but I don't think that was a very good reflection of good the team really was.

Heiskanen. Klingberg (-9 in 8 games this year).
Other than that?

Look at that forward group. Pavelski. Radulov.
Guys like Benn and and Seguin aren't really that old - but feel like they are.

I think it's starting to be time to hand it off to Dellandrea and Harley.
Maybe sell off some old guys, fall in the standings, collect your lottery pick and move on.
