Finally, the recovery of Kings prospect Gabe Vilardi has...

“Things are progressing,” said Octagon Hockey’s Andy Scott, who is Vilardi’s agent. “With any injury, especially involving your back, it takes time to recover. He’s working through that. He’s doing a lot of mobility stuff.

“We think he’s going to make a full recovery.”

I hope this is true, hated to see what he's been going through. Some more quotes in that story that are at least promising from Blake.

Yeah I was just hoping he'd be skating by the end of this year and conditioning for next year. Never in a million years dreamed he could see pro ice before December this year.

Fingers crossed for full health and no setbacks and a nice long AHL stint this year

Not a Kings fan, nor was I fan of his prior to the injury, I just didn't like his game, but I'm rooting for him in hockey and in life. Really hope he gets into action soon, that would be great.

If anything, it's the opposite.

He's one of the most talented prospects not in the NHL, and he's rarely talked about because of his injury.
