With Staal being traded and Eichel injured, I imagine Cozens has to be filling one of the top 6 centre spots, no? Sabres fans, has his role increased at all? Seems like a great opportunity for both he and Mittelstadt to step up.

Dylan's minutes in the last 4 games since Krueger was fired have gone down from 19;12 - 17:19 - 14:41 - 12:48. He was an impressive 8-1 (89%) in the last game from the dot.

This kid is exactly the type of player you need to win . I’d say he has a very good shot at becoming the captain it the next couple seasons.
If Buffalo does anything right , it’s keeping Cozens and use him as the cornerstone of the organization.

Its pretty amazing how he continues to impress me with his play nearly every game. One of the Sabres that truly has a complete all around game he doesn't seem to have any real weakness out there. Truly is one of the players that still impacts the game even when he isn't on the scoresheet.
