I had a a virus for a month which was originally thought to be mono, chills , weakness and fatigue where all you do is sleep. Who knows if 6 months is accurate , its not the same as if he injured the muscle.

There is no cure for it you basically just have to let it run its course and get out of your system which can take months.

But the symptoms could be awful and last for awhile.

It's acute (not chronic). Doesn't cause chronic disease (ie. it's not a long term illness) or liver cancer, unlike Hep B or Hep C.

Could still kill a weakened person in the acute phase though, it can hit some people pretty hard.

It would have been really interesting to see him play with MacDonald on Moncton, potentially two first rounders. Moncton has some young high end talent, they should be much improved over last year, disappointing he's not there.

Nah, that's not some magic period in life that defines what kind of player he will be. Yes, missing half a year is bad and may slow down his development but it doesn't mean much in terms of potential.

He looked excited for Moncton than abruptly took the Russian deal and now this comes out. At least this way he spend the next 6 months at home in Russia and might still make a paycheck at least.
