fair. Though X-2 and Spiderman 2 are both as good as most anything since in terms of comic book movies. Love those two.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, who both had A LOT of mainstream appeal, also came out before Iron Man 1.

I think they have helped comic book movies appeal to a broader audience.

I'm still holding out hope for a proper Hellblazer movie/series. Easily one of my top 2/3 favorite comic properties.

Would also wish FX would straighten out the pre-production of the Y: The Last Man series they held in limbo for what seems like a decade now.

The Last Stand is a mess. The Cure half could have been a really good movie if they didn't shove the Phoenix half in there. But instead it was just bad.

I've heard a lot of people say they didn't like Leto in BR2049 but I thought he was almost perfect in that role. I think there was still a lingering stink in the air from his Joker "performance" that carried over a bit and colored opinions a bit, perhaps.

He was good in that role.

The character is fine. They’re also planning on Kraven the hunter. Spider-man villains are hilariously meh so to make it compelling is pretty interesting to see.

I think he has a lot of really good villains, but a lot of them are super silly. It takes some effort to do them well in live action.

Yeah that's what I was getting at. I mean over simplifying it...

• One bloke is a hunter that loves animal print.
• Another is an emo that drinks some bat juice.
• One dude has metal arms attached to his back.
• Another chap dresses up as a rhino.
• Another chap has some mental issues and dresses up as a goblin
• There's a catwoman rip off.

And this is all in NY. Where like 95% of marvel characters reside. Mind you, spidey is one of my faves. But his villains were never what I Iiked about Parker. It was his issues that intrigued me. It was relatable in my teens.

2 weeks is all Huffman did for her admissions scam. The full house lady probably the same when she's sentenced. I can't help but think if they were a minority, they'd get a longer jail sentence. 2 weeks for cheating other kids out of an education so they can get their stupid kids in.

They handled Mysterio and Vulture way better then I ever thought they would. I am glad they went that route. Instead of the overly done villains. It's my gripe with Batman movies too. It's the usual rogues gallery - Penguin, Bane, Joker, etc.

I was really hoping with the Battinson version they would explore the court of owls. At least take it down a better path of the lore of his family, the city, etc. But MR went for the big names right away.
