As the resident panther fan here, grew up in Sunrise and engaged to probably the panthers biggest fan I can say that Hubby would be a frustrating player to watch here but his board work is amazing and he has an almost elite shot, I've seen cats fans questions is effort and drive as well as defensive drawbacks (BB scratched him one game this year due to missed coverage iirc) He would do great with Krejci and Pasta though if he was insulated by a good leadership group.

Thanks for the scouting report.

I have a feeling we'll see in the playoffs. He's at least a serviceable, experienced center. At 3C we don't really have that. At cheap $$$ I think it would've be a good insurance policy for when "prices are too high." We'll see.

It'll be easier to read after the TDL, but I can't help but feel like there will be better bottom 6 players moved at similar prices that are head and shoulders above Nate Thompson. People complained last year about Tommy Wingels and Brian Gionta playing in the playoffs. Nate Thompson being thrown in there on the 3rd line would have been just as bad if not worse.

Think Panarin might want to be mildly wary about signing in a place that has next to zero fan gate support.

Might go from sunning himself on the beach to learning French in Quebec. Maybe even trying to figure out what to do in the bustling metropolis of Hamilton, On, in the middle of January (hint: f*** all is the answer). Never know where you could end up!

Hell baby
Nate Thompson would have been more of the same, are people actually complaining about not getting him or are we preemptively addressing the complaints that (hopefully) don’t exist? He’s basically another Acciari

Looks like some of those post lockout years Bruins games.

Winning puts fans in seats. Any fan base (except for some Canadian markets) stop showing up if you have a history of mediocrity.

His stats are not as impressive as they should be. I agree this would be a shocker move, but he has underperformed given the expectations put on him:

As a Panthers fan no thats not true he is a elite passer who would get 55+ assist with Pasta.

26/31 69/82 52/54. Last three seasons. He is pretty much a 70 point winger if healthy.

Thats what you can expect out of him.

Does Debrusks play now influence what the Bruins are interested in a trade now,he hasn’t been good at all for awhile now,I At one time figured they just needed another winger to play with him and Krejci, and maybe another guy for third line Center,But now not sure if that’s enough,Heinen has been better
lately, but not convinced he is a top forward either.

When that team has won it has had plenty of support. And rubber rats. So many rubber rats.
