Trade K.Miller for pick(s): with B.Smith reportedly signing for 4.35M per, there is a market for Miller.
Trade Spooner+Heinen+Zboril/Lauzon/Lindgren+Beleskey+2nd for Landeskog
Sign Pasta for 49M/8y
Sign Jagr 4M/1y

Just under the Cap including Seids buyout.
With Mike Condon and (seemingly) Chad Johnson now off the market, if the Bruins want to upgrade their backup goaltender position, my 2 UFA guys are:
For comparison:
- Anders Nilsson - 27yrs; 6'6"; 10W - 10L - 4OTL; 2.67GAA; .923 Sv%; Last year's cap hit: $1.0M
- Keith Kinkaid - 28yrs; 6'3"; 8W - 13L - 3OTL; 2.64GAA; .916 Sv%; Last year's cap hit: $725k
Anton Khudobin - 31yrs; 5'11"; 7W - 6L - 1OTL; 2.64GAA; .904Sv%; $1.2M
There's a contract limit, so more than likely trading 5 guys for - guy isn't gonna work, quantity doesn't equal quality.
Kinkaid is a guy I would look at.
Bruins signed Acciari. Two years/1 way contract, 725k per.
Pretty much a given that the 4th line is Kuraly-Nash-Accairi now.
Don't be so sure.
Depends on who the other forwards are.
Cassidy clearly likes them better than Spooner or Belesky.
Kuraly - Backes - Acciari was a line during the playoffs when Krejci was unavailable early and Pasta got moved up.
Not saying I want this, but if Kuraly gets semi-regular to regular minutes on the 3rd line next year I wouldn't be shocked. Acciari I'd be more shocked but not entirely.
Gonna be a lonnnnnng year if they can't ice a better 3rd unit then that.

With the news/rumors floating out there today of Draisitl getting $9m on his next contract, there is no way you are signing Pastrnak for $5.5m for 8 years. That would be the biggest home town discount in the NHL. He is neck and next with Draisitl as the best forward in the 2014 class and is a better goal scorer but not a center. It would be a miracle if he signed for Marchand money for 3-4 years in a bridge deal. If you want 8 years your are looking a $7+ minimum.
34 goals before 21...and solid defensively which is a mandate on the Bruins.
Pretty much a given that the 4th line is Kuraly-Nash-Accairi now.

I posted this in the Pasta thread, but Taylor Hall's 2nd contract was exactly 10% of the cap at the time. Hall at the same age is a pretty good comp for Pasta (hell, Pasta is arguably better). 10% of the cap puts you at $7.5 million. I think that's the minimum you see Pastrnak get.
