I am certainly disappointed the way things are going, and a winning culture is a better, no doubt. But, I'm not upset.

The thing that I'm most concerned with, is how our kids are progressing. How they are handling pressure, adversity, etc...

I'm pretty sure that when both teams are healthy, we will be better. The Tigers seem pretty thin right now. And, are we any more aware of what's going on with the goalies? I really liked the Soderstrom story, and am really pulling for him.

Phantoms rush as the PP ends, O'Reilly has to reach back on his backhand to corral a pass behind him, does, puts it to his forehand and scores high blocker to tie it with 43 seconds left in the first. 1-1 after one.

Skarek after latest PK with 10 saves of 11 shots in the game.
Another big save of Skarek who is able to seal the puck underneath him... 14:42 to go in 2nd.

Phantoms take the lead. Nicolas Aube-Kubel makes it 2-1 Phantoms.
Another Aube-Kubel tip to put the Phantoms ahead, 2-1 at 5:59 of the second. :(

David Qenneville ties it at 2-2 with a slapper from left side. with a one-timer, his first as a Soundtiger!

3rd started ... and Morgan Frost makes it 3-2 for Phantoms with his 4th of the year with a shot off the post past Skarek.

How has Holmstrom looked the last 2 games?
He is one of the better players in the last 2 games. He's getting more and more comfortable with the men's game. What is standing out is his defensive game, too!
Somehow he and Matt Lorito really has found chemistry and are close it seems! :)

Skarek holds onto O'Reilly's left-circle slapper with 1:29 left. Scott Gordon calls Lyon to the bench for the draw.

Andreoff chance in front and again on the rebound, but Skarek and the D keep it out.

Thanks for the reports all you BP posters. This was an especially nice win because it was fueled by prospects. If your AHL team wins but it's all the vets that contribute, that's not so great. This was a nice one.
