My wish is we draft 2 elite guys this draft like 2 of Laf/By/Stutzle/Raymond/Holt and they carry their own line.

Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson run absolute havoc on the "second line." Batherson can carry that line as the skilled forward with Norris 2 way game and Tkachuk crusher.

PWF-2WAY-PLY = 99% chemistry rating on NHL 06

I would definitely keep Brady on the 1st line with Byfield if we end up drafting him. Brady would destroy the league.

And he hasn't come close to filling out his frame... and he doesn't even have a driver on his line too, lmfao.

Absolute beast. I was over the *****ing moon happy we drafted this guy and I still am. He's everything Ottawa never had and was missing during their elite skill years in the 2000's.
I wasn't enthusiastic about drafting Tkachuk but you're right about us never having a player like him when it mattered. I love the guy now and I don't care if Quinn Hughes has a better career. Brady is the guy we needed.

We wouldn’t have Tkachuk if we kept Zibby, and I also don’t think he would’ve reached that level here.

Nuh uh! Our lineup could totally be:

Tkachuk-Duchene-Stone
Hoffman-Zibanejad-Brown
Duclair-Tierney-Ryan
White-Pageau-Paul

Chabot-Karlsson
Brannstrom-Zaitsev
Wolanin-DeMelo

...if it wasn't for that idiot Dorion!

Since he’s gotten the ‘A’ he’s looked great. I’ve really started to notice his playmaking ability. He’s also got a great shot, scored a great snipe tonight. He’s a special player that teams would kill for come playoffs. A few more years and he will be the most dominant power forward in the NHL.

Absolutely. I don't see him signing that though. He'll go the same route as his brother. A short term deal with the chance to renegotiate in a few years is what he will be after.
Then he will likely no sign this summer as it would not be in his best interest on a bridge.

I don't know if this was posted already. He just creates chaos on the ice lol.

He really does, my friend had tickets in the second row against Montreal two saturdays ago and he took me. The opposition is legitimiately terrified of him. Being ice level you can see him chirping everyone and no one on Montreal would even look at him. He is going to be an absolute force when he is in his 23-30 years. Its true its pure chaos out there. I really hope the sens keep this mantra and build a big heavy team around him up front. I salivate at the idea of adding a physically dominant scorer like Byfield or Lafreniere to play with him.

You're missing Dzingle. That line-up can't realistically exist without Dzingle, and Boedker in it, as well.

That goal last night really shows his progression.

He read the play in our zone so was able to jump on the open puck but his skating is more powerful and smoother and then sniping from the top of the circle he shows off how his shot has improved as well.

Guy is legit full package and will be the most unique player in the league (already is?) for a long time with his combination of tenacity, size, skill and truculence (yep I went there).

Love, love, love this kid...please sign him to a long contract so I can safely buy his jersey for my kid.

Someone post that stat porn again!

This is shaping up to be my favourite iteration of the Sens yet. This draft could solidify that.

Imagine we could have another group of legacy players here? A new owner in a few years could breath some life into that hope.
