I knew a guy in Chicago who was drafted by the Oilers, but, while playing in the ECHL, he suffered a career-ending knee injury because of a bogus hit by Danny f***ing Corso. He hated that guy.

Yes. He was awful at both the ECHL and AHL levels. Every now and then he'd string a few nice starts together, but his collapses were epic and goals went in in bunches. With Ellis and Hofer (not to mention Zherenko who I'm personally excited about but he's still an unknown commodity) under contract, there was no reason to keep him around anymore.

It’s not exactly a surprised Foley wasn’t qualified. If he’s unable to even participate in hockey activities there’s not a point.
