Cowherd as much as I hate him, nailed the fact that Rams run defense being 18th is actually terrible because everybody is usually passing against them late to catch up. Bears ran all over them last night.

Seattle winning means Bears clinch NFC North next week at home if they beat the Packers (oh and end their slim playoff hopes at the same time). :)

It be nice to clinch early and give a few of the banged up starters extended rest as I don't see the Bears getting a #1 or #2 seed. Dolphins and Giants losses hurt...

Did Cowherd just figure this out? We've been saying this since the first month of the season.

Trubisky's second reads are getting better. Now his issue is finding the touch to place the ball in the second level. It's the skill to put the ball above the LBs and before the DBs.

First reads are usually slants, quick outs, posts, wheel routes, etc. Second reads take longer to develop. It's the deeper square ins, deeper button hooks, intermediate flag moves to the sidelines. Passes that need a lot more touch.

OF all the teams that are playoff bound (leading their divisions), Mitch is by far the worst QB of the bunch. Bears D is going to have to carry Mitch on their back hard in the playoffs.

minus the Bucs game, Mitch is 15 TD's, 12 int's on the year. Pace and company need to draft another QB in the latter rounds for 2019 for development on the practice squad.

All games count. Minus the Rams game he's 20 TDs 9 ints. Great season. See what I did there.

Also, Dak certainly isn't far better than Mitch.

Do you know how the practice squad works? You have to first cut the player for that player to be available for the practice squad. Also, any team can sign a player on a practice squad unless that team puts them on the current roster. Now the team can deactivate them before games (i.e. Kevin White).

Trubisky sucked Sunday night ... but let's not over react. It's not like DeShaun Watson is tearing it up.

Mahomes, Brees, Rivers, and Brady are a cut above the rest for playoff QBs. Even Goff, Wilson, Big Ben, Luck have had their struggles here and there. Wilson and Goff were god awful last week. Watson, Jackson, Trubisky, Mariota, Prescott, Wentz, Cousins, etc. have all had their issues this year.

Let's not over react. Trubisky definitely needs to improve. He can't play like he did last week. However, let's hold off on finding a new QB for next year. Give it some time. He was also coming off an injury. Excuses yes ... but let's not boot the kid just yet.

Vikings just fired ex Bears HC candidate John DeFilippo as OC. The Vikings are in deep crisis. Cousins has $84mn guaranteed.

Sure would be nice if the Colts beat the Cowboys and the Bears beat the Packers this weekend. Cowboys only a game behind the Bears and would have the tie breaker if the Bears lose to the Pack.

Bears dodged a bullet. Thanks Pace.
Nagy is very good and it appears like Reich was the guy who was the offensive master mind in Philly last year. That said, Cousins has not played like an $84mn QB ... and Zimmer is not easy to coach for. DeFilippo should get another shot at OC before making an evaluation.

I like how the Vikings got a QB to fix their woes that makes Stafford look clutch by comparison.

... okay, that was a tad harsh even for Cousins.
