Yeah, that's what I found out with a bit of research as well. Pretty ridiculous that this glitch has been there since the release and they haven't fixed it. Not going to bother either, maybe they'll do something about it in like 6 months.
Once I had a handful of guns for each class maxed out and the vehicles maxed out, the game feels pointless. Grinding for a skin is hard motivation.
Even the maps they have now are very poor quality and made with little effort in my opinion. Copy/paste a few buildings from BF1 maps and make a somewhat different terrain, that's what those maps feel like.
Well they're pretty different games and I assume they appeal to different audiences. I much prefer the more realistic combat of Battlefield/PUBG to the hero shooter style of Apex so I would be excited for a Battlefield BR and I'm sure many others would too. Especially if they're able to incorporate vehicles in a way that's fun, fair, and balanced.
Do you know if that number includes the Origin Premiere subscribers who played the game? I feel like Battlefield and Anthem, even if they weren't as popular as EA hoped/expected, did a pretty good job selling their Premiere service. It worked on my friends and me. We had quite a bit of fun with Battlefield for a month or so. I'd like to get back into it and I just remembered that they had planned a BR mode, but I haven't heard a thing about it recently. You're right, probably not a good sign.
Yes and no. I still prefer bf1 due to the navel aspect and better maps. But V has a bit more intense fighting and the tanks are amazing.
