I've been playing the beta and it is alright but I can't see myself paying full price for the game with Halo coming out 2 weeks later.
I don't get it. Why not just release the beta with the build that doesn't have all the bugs?
Whats your cpu? Supposedly BF is notorious for being cpu heavy. I'm on a 3060ti, at 1440p, and never dip below 60fps on medium/high.The performance is awful on PC. I have a 2080Ti and at low settings I'm dropping into 30fps range when getting into firefights. I can't even aim properly, it just gets so frustrating.

Also the problem isn't the bugs and stuff, it's just bad decisions that won't even be changed. Things like the UI - which may be the worst UI I've ever played with, the new specialist system is also bad - you just 40 of the same dude running around and specialists like the medic are just awful. The map is also pretty bad, there's no flow to it and it's way too big.
I don't think that I'd blame DICE. This looks like classic EA. With BF3, EA stated that they were taking on CoD and they've been treating BF like their sports franchises ever since, pushing them out semi-regularly and at the same time of year each time. Prior to BF3, BF games were released at other points of the year, like March and June, presumably when they were done. Now, EA makes them release them in October-November because 1) that's the most profitable time of year, and 2) if they miss the window and delay it a year, that's an opportunity for CoD (or some other shooter) to gain traction. It's already been 3 years since BF5. EA wants some income and DICE has to declare it gold whether they think that it's finished or not. We might fault DICE for not having it done and polished yet (i.e. failing to meet a deadline that they probably knew about all through development), but we don't know whether they would delay it several months if they could. We just know that they don't have that choice.
Its both of their fault.
I don't expect anything other than it being a buggy mess at launch and then DICE will hand it off to a sister studio and they turn it in to one of the best games ever.
Did anybody encounter the tornado? I did and it doesn't kill you when you run into it. Or when you fly into it with a jet or a helicopter.
I hear when people encounter it, all they do is go towards it and ignore the objective. I have yet to see one though.Did anybody encounter the tornado? I did and it doesn't kill you when you run into it. Or when you fly into it with a jet or a helicopter.
