I disagree.
Batherson is dominating the AHL this season. I don’t think he has much left to learn there.
He would learn a lot more playing against bigger and better players in the NHL. With at least Duchene gone Batherson should get plenty of ice time in the NHL
Desperate move? By the Ottawa Senators? No way...Seems like a desperate move to try to generate ticket sales.
They trying to sell tickets for tonightThis is so, so, so dumb.
Let them play in Belleville you absolute ****tards!!!
So they give up on Belleville in order to allow our top prospects to fully bask in the toxicity that is the Ottawa Senators.
This pisses me off way more than the healthy scratches yesterday. Way, way more.
I actually like this a lot.
If you want NHL players you have to play them in the NHL. Senators are not making the playoffs so it's a low pressure environment to learn in. They will get plenty of ice time as well.
Well, learning to win might be a possibility in Belleville. Definitely not in Ottawa. There's more than just on ice hockey skills to learn.
Tkachuk should have gone to London with Formenton this year too, if only to slide a year on his ELC rather than wasting it on this season.
