Without JVR on the team he could be a 75-80 point player.
If Leafs sign JT and Matthews gets easier matchups? 95-100 would be my guess.

Over 82 points if he has a healthy season. As well, if healthy, he will win the Rockey Richard trophy next year. He has an incredible ability to be in the right place at the right time within 10 feet of the net.

Let's say Matthews scores 50 goals and 35 assists next season it would give him a total of 85 points. Since others still give Matthews crap for his low assist numbers that's one way for him to get above 82 points and still do it by scoring more goals.
