Whatever the delay, it's beside the point now. We can at least be confident in having a decent prospect pool for the D-corps, with maybe a few chances at 3rd pair pros. Just need to have adequate NHLers to bridge the gap after the top three.

I’m pleasantly shocked. He should be able to anchor our 3rd pair LD for years, with some upside as well.

Second pairing is still an open questions. Perhaps he sees a chink in Joker's armor.

With multiple legit prospects in Rochester….and three young studs at the NHL level…. I guess people will have to narrow their complaints about the defensive talent in this organization to just unsigned defensive prospects (the horror)!

I think Metsa gets an NHL deal, possibly in training camp. I was shocked when all he got was an AHL contract earlier.
