Haley is on waivers. Does McPhee claim him with Carrier out long term?
Sharks didn't re-sign him after his 2017 stint (and didn't play him in playoffs). He's not the fastest guy on the ice. His main role was more of a policeman.

Don't know that he'd add anything.

Sharks claimed Haley today.

I had a feeling somebody was going to take a chance on him before the deadline to add some toughness.

Considering the Sharks are 3rd in league standings, no one else really wanted him. (IOW there were 27 teams that did not make the claim. Unknown about Calgary and Tampa who sit above the Sharks)

Guessing he'll be the designated 14th forward.

Just looked at the standings and noticed how our lead from being in the 3rd spot int he pacific to being out of a playoff spot is shrinking fast.

Team needs to get its act together.

Hopefully GMGM makes a move at the deadline that can get us a scoring Top 6 guy with some defensive skill or a top D man.

Big day in Calgary tomorrow as the #12 gets raised to the rafters. Loved Iginla, so skilled, determined, so physical yet so classy. Was such a great ambassador for the Flames, the city of Calgary and the sport as a whole. Which such a treat to watch him over the years and it's a pity he never got his cup, but a stand up guy none the less.

It is hard to believe that two years ago, the Sens were only a double OT loss at game 7 of their Eastern Conference Final series against the Pens from going to the Stanley Cup. A win would have changed that team's trajectory forever.
