But my comments about the Bobby Knight/Michel Therrien style of coaching remains the same. It’s for weak coaches, who desperately want to have an erection again without having to watch YouTube videos of children crying. The middle managers of the the NHL. The Karens of sport.

Hey I'm with you there. I never responded well to coaches screaming at me. Give me a coach that can motivate complex humans through emotions other than anger.

I forget who alluded to it, but you have to be able to manage different types of players. Although, I agree with Handshake. Therrien embodied the old school mantra for coaches.



Mind you, we don't know what other coaches are like behind closed doors. We can only go by pieces from reporters and footage from games.
