Solid career, and his name will forever be on the Cup.

Can't believe he's 36. Feels like yesterday he was drafted as a fresh-faced 18-year old. What could have been -- a Sundin/Steen 1/2 combo down the middle with Stajan as a solid two-way 3rd line centre was the dream for us Leaf fans. Too bad the latter two didn't excel in those roles.

If the Florida Panthers are allowing 25% of fans which is about 5,000 people, how is that any different when you look at their attendance prior to Covid 19?

Oilers fans on Twitter seem to think “Barrie will be a stud for them”, “is a good skater who can play two way hockey well”. “His stats defensively are in line with Klefblom, and he’s even better offensively”.

hmmm.

They're in for a rude awakening. I haven't been as disappointed in a Leafs acquisition in a long time.

They both hit that potential just not in Toronto which is what sucks about it.

Taking entire careers into account, I think it's fair to say Barrie and Klefbom have similar stats defensively. Barrie has also been better offensively. That said, measuring these players by defensive or two-way impact is definitely a strange way to approach things.

We were warned, we didn't listen, we were disappointed. They have been warned, they are not listening, they will be disappointed.

He’ll be in the running for the Norris, probably.
