He should have added his own page for comparison

Why is that important?
Are you saying that if you didnt play in the NHL or pro hockey, that you cant have extremely insightful hockey thoughts?

Jack Han actually worked in the NHL for our very own Toronto Maple Leafs so his opinion isnt just some random joe on the internet.

Why post Stewart’s stats then if it’s all meaningless?

It's obviously not meaningless and in certain cases, it can be extremely valuable.

I think people who have played pro hockey definitely have a inside track on having better knowledge but that doesnt mean that someone who didnt play automatically cant be as knowledgable or informed.

I think many people are just tired of the consistent trade Nylander angle and think he should be a mainstay on this core for along time.

Heck we just massively upgraded the grit and heart of this team so the shortcomings of the core 4 wont be nearly as hurtful or at least thats the hope.

Nylander isn’t going anywhere. Seems silly that the suggestion seems to upset some.

Somewhere
Jack Han is a clown. Literally posting Stewarts stats and indirectly calling him a bust in a twitter exchange is the lowest form of class. It's almost like Han took it personally.

If you add the 3.7M to the 5M Brodie money, you are pretty close.
Going from Nylander to Kapanen is a bigger loss than the gain from going from Brodie to Pietrangelo, and that's assuming that Pietrangelo would have come here and been willing to sign for the same amount (unlikely), and that's before we consider the additional decline years on the Pietrangelo contract.

Ya I think long term is where the value is made up. Brodie after 4 years is off the books. Years 5-7 while AP is on the downswing of his career Nylander and Kap will still be in the middle of their prime. Plus you get that 5 mill in cap space to look elsewhere than having ~9 committed to a declining asset.

Happy for Brown, for getting a good pay day. He's one of the hardest working guys out there, and a shame that we couldn't keep him, but it is, what it is with the cap. He's certainly a guy, who has shown that hard work trumps size, and talent in many cases... not that he isn't talented, but he's punched well above what most people do, for their talent levels.

Congrats to Tampa on the Cup.

And congrats to Connor Brown on the new deal! I'm still a fan.

Well, the clown is the one saying that Kapanen is better than Nylander.

Which isn't Han.
They’re both idiots as well as anyone who takes their or any other twitter heroes opinion as gospel.

The Connor Brown contract seems fine for both sides. The AAV settled on was a bit closer to his ask. The team now has him locked in for some term.
