I thought maybe Florida would put up a better fight and that maybe Tampa was a little self-satisfied. That's not a goaltending situation there in Florida that I envy. Driedger didn't have a great game in his start either, but if they weren't beholden to that Bob contract, I wonder if things would have been quite the same.

Hey they went to the store and bought the shovel to dig that hole so I don't feel bad for them one bit on that deal. Everyone knew that was a dumb contract the minute it got out.

I mean Tampa is playing with 10 million more in cap than anyone else, they should be winning.

There were a couple beat writers who were really high on Blackwell as a guy that should have gotten more minutes based on his underlying numbers and analytics...those guys were dismissed because you can't extrapolate that data into giving guys more minutes. The real answer is he is probably much better than what Nashville staff had him pegged as, and he's probably not the player that Rangers fans saw this season.

He's played more games for you all then us at this point so you tell us. My guess from when he played for us is he won't be a consistent 20 goal scorer though. I think he's a solid bottom six energy guy if you aren't looking for size.

Korbinian Holzer just scored against the Gallant coached Canadian squad. Over 3 1/2 minutes of 5on3 squandered. Canada 0-3 at the world championships.
