Great career. The move to ANA has helped his stats, albeit at a backup workload. 30 more wins would mean he likely plays 2 seasons beyond this, which would include a final season at age 40. It’s definitely possible.

Fletcher is also expected to be phillys gm i hear. Call immediately and see what couturier is worth.

More than what Botterill is willing to part with.

Coots wears the A and plays a huge role for the Flyers while also signed long term on a more than team friendly contract.

And he leads Flyers forwards in TOI/G.

He's not getting traded short of a major overpayment.

Thanks. It was more of a play-on-joke of past transactions between Fletcher(in Minnesota) and buffalo. Not a serious trade speculation.

I'll never forget Steigy, during a game against the Sabres in 2015-16, completely overreacting to Sprong making the team right after his draft and declaring that Pittsburgh may have drafted the third most talented player in the 2015 Draft behind McDavid and Eichel. I wish I was exaggerating.

Not really.

15-16 - $71.4M cap
16-17 - $73M cap
17-18 - $75M cap
18-19 - $79.5M cap

If it is $83M, that will be about a $1M smaller increase than last year to this year.

But oh it is steadily going up.

The cap is manageable, finding talent is the hard part.

We are going need Mitts to be that all star level guy to compete in the East.
