Why must you be so hyperbolic? Most understand a team culture is impacted by a lot of different things. Its rarely as simple and cartoonish as you're trying to portray it here. Posters that think this way (as in ROR is the devil) are not likely to change their mind so why bother?

We need ROR (as a player) and they need the devil (as a vegan)

The problem is that almost every terrible and disastrous trade made in hockey over the past quarter century was motivated by the idea of culture change. In fact that was one of the prime motivations for what is unquestionably the worst trade in hockey history, a trade so bad it literally killed a team: Ron Francis and Ulfie for John Cullen and Zarley Zalapski. Only fools make moves where you give up an assett at a bargain price to "change the culture".
