Good stuff indeed, although I couldn't help but notice that Looch was on the ice as Edmonton went for an equalizer with an empty net. I love Looch, but he's in a major goal drought.

Warriors NBA just did something like this and they have a wait list of about 50,000 for season tickets and their pass doesn;t have any access to visually "see" anything, just to have access to facilities. Seems to be less attendance based and more of how much money they can squeeze out of something. I see a lot more teams doing this, monthly fee for access to arenas restaurants/bars etc.

We might see something similar at TD Garden next year as they plan to create Level 8 on the Causeway St side of the arena.
