The kings are on tonight right after the Angels/Astros game in prime time (originally scheduled for 8:30 pm) and gets repeated several times. The Ducks show is Thursday night at 10:30 pm after high school football and gets repeated only a few times. No programming bias there Fox Sports

Well... LA is a bigger market to be fair. Of course i would like the Ducks to get more recognised but it`s just how it works.

Mike Gillis wasn't so bad now, eh? Trading Schneider was a huge mistake (although Horvat is a nice player), and the return on Luongo was mediocre at best, but Benning has been just abysmal.

Really nice article and nice to see Quick praising Getz & Pears. He actually also gree that it matter WHAT kind of possesion you have and that the fancy stats doesn`t show the whole story (who knew, right ).

Good read to better understand the game too (probably most of us knew a lot of things there but still)

Wouldn't be the right question, Perry at 8 x 8.625 vs Voracek at 8 x 8.25? Voracek is only 25 as well. On the other hand, Jakub never had a 25 goal season. I think this is a solid deal overall for Philly.

The better question is, assuming both are pending UFA who would you want to extend? Of course it would still be Getz, but you have to figure that he would easily draw 9.X M+, if not more, if he was signing that extension in today's environment. Tampa probably isn't even sniffing at re-signing Stamkos without an offer of at least 10M.

Getz/Perry's contracts are going to continue to look better than newer deals for as long as they maintain their current production levels.
