Fun article on the athletic about team makeups. Wild still the 3rd oldest team after getting younger. Crazy how your prime for most players is now 24-26 years old, with the peak age being 26. Then at age 27, the numbers of players in the nhl start to go down. Nothing new, but confirming how this is such a young mans league.

I think this confirms the notion ‘why overpay for a 27-30 year old FA if you’re not a contender’, when you can hopefully draft and develop one?
