Argued with folks who told me that the Canadiens were “easy the best team in the league.” I’d tell them why that wasn’t the case and how they’d come crashing down to reality and the only retort? “You’re just saying that because you’re a Bruins fan.”

You just knew it was an awful contract the moment it was signed. Still, much worst than anticipated for Skinner. Was productive before. Overpaid but productive. Now, only dead cap.
