This team though is a career killer.
It's a difficult market to play in. It must be awful playing in Edmonton if you have even one bad game or hell, even one bad play, if HFOil is at all indicative of the fanbase as a whole.

HFOil is a fishbowl within a fishbowl. It's a difficult market to play in. It must be awful playing in Edmonton if you have even one bad game or hell, even one bad play, if HFOil is at all indicative of the fanbase as a whole.
I think it also helps that Vegas is a pretty good tourist attraction so they'll always have people looking for tickets. And those people going are usually pretty rowdy and into the game. Not going to lie, when I first heard of hockey coming to Vegas I thought it wouldn't work out and there would be barely any support for the Golden Knights. Pretty neat to see how that city has embraced the game of hockey (I guess having a dominant hockey team also helps)
I mean this was their first pro sport wasn't it? I think they would of latched on no matter what.

I don’t doubt for a second that someone in Oilers management reads these boards. It's a difficult market to play in. It must be awful playing in Edmonton if you have even one bad game or hell, even one bad play, if HFOil is at all indicative of the fanbase as a whole.
I can only imagine how awesome that was! Going to Vegas for a hockey game is definitely on my bucket list
Should have been a penalty on Bonino for pulling the puck into his body with his hands.
I’ve been a few times. It’s nuts and crazy and fun but it made Mrs 5 Mins 4 Ftg a Vegas fan.
I wonder how bad the Pens wish they kept Fleury.

Agreed.Jarry is a pretty good example of what a Koskinen start would look like. Pens should’ve won 3-0 today.
Koskinen for JarryAgreed.
I think Koskinen would look better in a pens jersey.
Make it happen Holland.
I was in Vegas during stanley cup finals when they made it for other reasons than hockey, but it was pretty electric around town.
