Do any of you guys bet individual goal scorers? I just turned on Flyers pregame and McDavid is -135 to score a goal and Drai is -125 on the moneyline. You someone is a stud and playing well to have those odds to score a goal in a specific game.

when i feel frisky i will dabble on nhl goal scorer (point scorer is way more easy)

but funny you mention this last night i did gentzel tavares draistal to score goals and aho to score a point. $$$ 5 paid 90. doesn't seem that much considering how many players can score compared to football.

i dont know where you look but draistal to score a goal last night was +125 for me JT + 135 guentzel +138 and aho to score a point -215

another tip i learned is to not just take the ML if you think a game is a good shot at finishing in regulation look for the 3way bet and even a heavy favorite will give you + odds to win in regulation

The best way to make the shootout better is to get rid of it

shootouts are still better then ties but what they should do is just ditch it and make 3on3 10mins i dont think that is much more hockey for players when some games a ton of guys finish with 10-15 mins played. instead of rolling just 2 lines you will be forced to play your entire bench if the game ends in a tie after that then so be it.

Why are people still so blown away by the in between the leg shot? I remember JVR pulling it in the Olympics years ago. Seen it a bunch of times in the NHL. And yeah it's cool, but people go on about these shots like it's the first time they've seen it.

I just saw it on the Flyers pregame. I will check my William Hill account in the future. Never really thought of playing individual goal scorers.

its very hard to hit even more so if you parlay them. i use draft kings and they run odds boosts the other night they had a promo running stamkos/marner and giroux had to score this was two nights ago 20-1 they were giving you. stamkos and marner scored but giroux didn't

The Odds Boosts are always way harder to hit on than they appear. I've only hit on them a few times, most recently with baseball (Conforto O2.5 RBI, Mets Win-one of the easier ones). I've done a few with multiple QB's passing over a certain yardage or amount of touchdowns that I've gotten as well but these kind of bets are total crapshoots.

Yeah I learned from last year when I would try and pick 10 qbs for that and bet small to win big to knock it down to 4 and bet bigger. still sounds easier then it is all it takes is a good defensive game or a few rushing td's and your screwed.

I asked this in another thread but we should make a Gambling/sportsbook thread for all sports so we can talk about this stuff there. Would love to get give advice when I can also share people who to follow on twitter who IMO have been amazing.

I second this. A sticky for all sports betting related talk would be nice

It was reported that Kings 2017 1st rounder Gabe Vilardi had been skating on his own and was now in LA doing some non-contact drills. Word was that he'd be evaluated at the end of the week and might be cleared to join their AHL club. Due to a back injury, Vilardi had only played in four games since the spring of 2018 and he had missed a chunk of time that season as well.

Best of luck to him. Kids like him Timmons and PATRICK are way too young to have to contend with these sorts of injury woes. Playing NHL hockey is hard enough without your own body being an obstacle. Hopefully he can stay healthy and work towards an NHL future.

Oh man,

Dougie Hamilton with 5 goals and 10 points in 9 games

Hanifin with 2 goals and 2 points in 11.

Calgary ending up on the wrong end of these trades.
