Nope, still embarassed
Kahun-a-Maatta, what a wonderful trade.
I want to like this twice
Kahun-a-Maatta, what a wonderful trade.
Why do the Hawks add? Kahun is promising AND on an ELC, while maatta isn't showing much and has a signif cap hit. Is it bc he's a defenseman?

Miles Wood I would say. Kahun is already 23, so I don't compare him to guys drafted in the last few years. Can someone compare this as if it were us? Like who do we have that compares to Kahun?

Prob has to do with the maataSo is that why he said Bowman lost his mind?
Or is it something he did just now (that wasn't explained to me when I first asked)?

Guess they liked him...
Man, this is shaping up to be a boring free agency. Skinner, Eberle, and now Hagelin re-signed.
I'm not saying Hags is on the level of the other two or that we should get him. I'm saying that the trend this offseason is "don't let players hit the market."Hagelin stinks
there are plenty of other good players slated to be available
That tends to be the trend every year, though. Tavares aside, you rarely see big names hit UFA unless their current team has no interest in bringing them back ala JVR.
It does surprise me a little that the upper middle tier guys mostly sign before FA. You’d think the guys who aren’t getting max deals would ‘see what was out there’ a week or two off from FA
Yeah, I agree. I feel like hockey players are so unassuming and loyal by nature that they tend to stick around with their current team if they're willing to offer a contract. Wyshynski mentions it in his podcast all the time, all of their **** is there. They don't want to move their ****.
So much for the homesick wife story.
Where does this likely put San Jose cap wise, I wonder?
