Thankfully, my wife is on maternity leave, so we can segment our schedules. I usually handle 6ish pm to 3ish am and she handles the rest of the day, so I at least get some consecutive hours of sleep before work. A bit rough beyond that, and it'll be damn difficult to split sleep times when she has to go back to work.

Temps in the 90s here this week, but coming from Atlanta it actually isn’t that bad in the shade with a breeze or fan.

Have a bacterial infection in my eye.

This is not ideal. If I look at a computer for 5 straight minutes I get dizzy.

Probably my biggest work-related pet peeve is people that don't understand the concept that I'm not responsible for other peoples' figures. At least once a day, I have the following correspondence with an attorney or a lender that should know better:

Lender or attorney: When should we expect a prelim statement for review?
Me: I can't say for sure, as we are awaiting lender's and/or seller's figures.
Lender or attorney: Well, when are you getting those?
Me: I don't work for their office, I can't give an ETA for other people's work.

About akin to attorneys asking me to explain clearly labeled lender figures. Hey, you know I work for the title company, ask the damn lender.

Not rocket science.
