We looked completely gassed for that OT and last 10 minutes.
Howard overplayed the goal. Tatar looked like he was dogging it. Should've gone for the diving check.
Still want a replay to see if that "penalty" on Z wasn't because NJ was blatantly offsides.

I honestly thought we looked better except in the first.
Howard was a beast... but not beast enough apparently.
Imo the refs blew plays that allowed NJ to score a couple - I don't care what anyone says,

First goal: Howard's positioning could've been more square to the shooter, but it was a knuckler with eyes. Just a nasty shot to have to deal with.
Second goal: Howard's positioning wasn't spectacular, maybe a slight deflection but he should've been more square to the point shot.
OT winner: Great goal by Palmeiri. Jimmy got hung out to dry.
On the whole, Howard had a respectable game. Team had no puck control tonight.

As someone mentioned, sucks Howard plays well and gets the SOL. Well all 3 of those goals were very saveable, he went from having a great game to one that he isn't earning any props for in about 10 mins.

Why talk about Howard when they allowed a breakaway to a team that didn't even really want to score...
Tune in next game, where your Detroit Red Wings will blow yet another 3rd period lead, but don't worry, they will get an OT loser point! Once again, OTLing their way to the playoffs.

Not a bad game not a good game. Howard played great but Jersey's volume of chances got them a few bounces.
The OT period was lamer than washington politicians.

I'm a Howard advocate... a lot. But that attempt was ****** stupid.
That said, he still had a helluva game.

Team looked utterly goosed any time the Devils got a shot from the point, genuinely expected a goal every time, whatever about Smith and OT, they did so well up to the 2nd intermission, what the hell happened in the 3rd? Devils didn't exactly step up a level, really annoying that loss.

Uh, because he looked like a fool? Is he immune from criticism because he wasn't the sole reason we lost? He doesn't ever do himself any favors. Just like Smith, who had a great first OT shift then blew it for the goal.
