Try having a bevy of Scandinavian dimepieces all throwing themselves at you. Then we'll see how faithful you really are.

Loyalty is a choice, as is love.

Doesn't matter who throws themselves at you, if you're a loyal person.

I have had some model beautiful women ask me for my number before. If am in a relationship, she is irrelevant to me. Heck even single. I would question why they are being aggressive.

I have been with many gorgeous women. My ex wife used to be a model. I think that you reach a point where beauty starts to matter less than the quality of the person you're with.

There are celebrities who can remain faithful and be good parents and role models.

Don't blame it on fame.

I am a strong believer that fame simply amplifies the person that you are.

This includes the insecurity, the self consciousness and the need for attention, to name a few things.

If he is caught red handed, he has nobody to blame in my opinion than the poor life choices he chose to make, albeit hopefully that he then chooses to get help, if ever.

As a Jets fan who got a ring side seat early in EK9’s career the “noise” is who he is. I really enjoyed his game on the ice and always felt he brought it. I never felt cheated as a fan. However, he has always been a train wreck off the ice. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The stakes of his alleged shenanigans have increased though.

And how does Kane "lose the game" without help from his team mates or without making it blatantly obvious he's up to something?

It would seem that some of his teammates would have to be in on it with him for it even being a realistic possibility ala the 1919 Black Sox.

Might not have to if he is expelled and has his contract nullified. Not exactly sure how it would go down.

If he gets banned from the league, I'm confident in saying that his contract would be void and not count against the Sharks cap.

Agree. I also expect that any NHL contract nullification action against Kane would be reviewed/pre-approved by the Players Assn and the Hockey Diversity Alliance grp.

so right now there is no actual evidence of him gambling on NHL games.

However I am more convinced that his teammates dislike his ways of showing up late and not on time.

People mentioned voiding his contract, his contract cannot be voided unless he is found guilty of a crime, (eg if Virtanen is found guilty of rape, the Canucks can void his contract).

right now there is no evidence of it, until proven, and if the Sharks want to get rid of him a trade or a buyout are the only ways.

The Canucks have already bought out his contract. So he can sign with anybody.

HDA has 0 say in any of this.
Just to be clear: You guys think the HDA will have no involvement in a contract nullification action nor in any other disciplinary action against Kane by the NHL. Right?

They will look pretty stupid if they do. Everything they are trying to be if they step in or saying anything against whatever the NHL and NHLPA decides it will hurt their image.

Why would they? And does the HDA have any authority in appealing decisions made by the NHL/NHLPA?

Correct. I don't think you realize the HDA is basically an advocacy group. One that the NHL isn't even really partnered with. They have ZERO say in anything league related.

I wonder how Evander will blame this on racism as well.

What an absolute dirtbag of a human being.

Casinos and the league are systemically racist, you didn't know that? Its Evander Kane vs everybody.

This only really applies if they choose to buy him out during the window that occurs after arbitration with Adin Hill completes. There's a good chance that the league's investigation doesn't complete until after that arbitration window would pass. If the league clears him, chances are that the Sharks will either sit him for the season or waive him and assign him to an AHL team.
