Clean hits that badly injure the captain of the team absolutely should get a response.

Clean hits that dont result in injuries and fights break out? I agree they are stupid.

Kronwall has been injuring players for a decade and has refused to drop his gloves the entire time. He is gutless.

Hitting is part of normal hockey play. Fighting isn't really. No reason Kronwall should have to fight just because he makes clean hits.

What you want and what is deemed appropriate in the rules are two different things.

Kronwall CAN make that hit and Lee CAN'T put himself in that kind of position.

Yes there was head contact but it was unavoidable because Lee had his head down.

To those who used to argue that Kronwall’s jumping hits were clean:

THIS is how he should have been doing it back then. Skates actually on the ice and not in a jumping motion.

Not sureshow we are still debating this, thetrule was posted more than once. It was a clean hit within the rules of the league.
Lee also had no pronlem with the hit.
