Checked on twitter and overall I'm seeing more outrage over the perceived outrage at this point.
It seems like that is how these things tend to go. People wait for someone to be offended, and then, regardless of
why the person is offended, they descend with Triggered memes and accusations of hypocrisy in hand.
In my opinion, it's a silly video. In a vacuum, it is relatively innocent, and, as someone else said, as long as everyone in the video consented to what was going to happen there isn't a lot to be offended by in and of itself. Here's the kicker: we don't live in a vacuum. Outside factors absolutely influence how something like this will be taken, and it doesn't even require outrage for a PR firm or even a couple of women in the Ducks organization to say, "you know, maybe this isn't the best idea right now."
Some people want to be offended, and some people want to be offended by people being offended. The rest of us just want people to stop and think for two damn seconds before they do something for the lulz.
