Awesome to see Kyrou tearing it up. Makes me feel confident in him, especially compared to what Kostin is doing...

Also good to see Soshnikov producing down there.

Kyrou up to 13 points in 15 games. Didn’t he start with like 1 point in his first 7?

He looks like a completely different player than he did early on. He is aggressive and assertive. He seems to have realized that he’s faster than anyone else and has the skill to do pretty much whatever he wants.

It’s something I want to see Kostin take more ownership of.

Keep Kyrou out of STL at this point...let him dominate the A while the big club languishes towards a top pick.
Amen.

It's clear to me at this point that San Antonio is the best place for Kyrou to develop right now. Maybe give him some NHL games towards the end of the season as a reward, but for now let him tear it up and gain confidence in the AHL.

Kyrou will be our Barzal. I’m sticking with it.

Edit: because more than anything I have nothing else to hope for
Wel Barzal put up 85 points as a 20-year old and Kyrou is in the AHL.

Sorry to be negative I couldn’t help myself.

Hopefully you’re right lol.

It’s good to see the Rampage start to turn things around. The infusion of talent lately (Kyrou, Sanford, Soshnikov, Blais) certainly helps quite a bit.

Kostin seems to be starting to thrive too, and you just have to hope that his game can find some consistency here. I’ve got high hopes for him dominating the World Juniors next week, hopefully even more so than he did last year.

I'm at work so can someone post the video the Rampage tweeted out last night? It's their highlights from the weekend series, but it's honestly a Jordan Kyrou highlight reel for the most part. Damn there were some impressive plays there in just one weekend.

If I looked at the stats correctly the Rampage are 6-3-1 in the last 10. Looks like they are turning it around at the moment.

Their goal scoring is anywhere from 20-30 off the pace of the best teams. Their goals against is near the upper middle of the league, so that doesn’t seem to be as much of the problem.
