I believe it was @OneManIsNoMan that said it?

I don't want to drive this place nuts, but I have already said a few times "no they aren't done." They are in the ears of a couple of GM's. Now, it's just about making it happen. I believe something will get done, but there is never any guarantees in this business.

Best advice I can tell you is rather then keep refreshing here, or twitter or whatever social media you toy with, is to keep an eye on the AHL Bruins transaction page TheAHL.com | The American Hockey League and the waiver wire.

A spot needs to be cleared for Clifton (sad to say likely Lauzon) and a spot for Kase (likely Kuhlman). They are the two logical choices as they do not require waivers.

IF you see any other moves, then something is about to drop.
Thanks Dom for clearing that up. You said earlier about having to make room for guys and I also assumed it would be Lauzon and Kuhlman. Shame as I think Lauzon is doing great. One good thing is we got to see him and now know he cans step in just like Kampfer. That gives them options.

Agreed, but I doubt that’s likely they can make everything work ....

Thornton for a 3 - if anybody thinks he’s playing 3rd line you’re kidding yourself. He is a perfect second PP and LH Centerman for crucial DF zone face offs hopefully getting 8-9 minutes a night.

Palmieri or Krieder - I’m all in I’ll deal Studnicka at this point Studnicka and Vaakaanen and whatever else it takes as a throw in.

Moore - shipped out for a pick to make the cap work.

Marchand Bergeron Pasta
Debrusk Krecji Palmieri/Kreider
Heinen/Bjork Coyle Kase
Kuraly Thornton Heinen/Bjork

Wagner call up Kuhlman as a Black Ace

Lauzon is in Clifton is the 7th dman.

Kampfer as 8.

Pray to baby Jesus we don’t need to call on Black ace Zboril.

Also not opposed to giving Halak a game or two in the playoffs this year.

My only question and interest in Joe is if he can have any Recchi effect...do the players like him to anywhere near that degree...would they really care about getting him a Cup? He really doesn’t seem like a guy everybody loves. But I think there could be value to the story. I’d prefer DS simply adds a quality player, but if the players are in on Joe, okay...

No interest in Bogosian. He could be a real liability. I’d go with a guy like Lauzon in a pinch over Bogosian.

I would totally be down with the above. Bogosian, no thanks...

Also, I think Joe has a lot more respect around the league and in the room than some people here think...And guys like Bergeron knew and played with him. I definitely think if he wound up here they would go to war for Joe to try to get him and guys like Rask etc that cup. I don't want them to just get Joe and be done tho, its not near enough. The depth would help and he could definitely be a specialist and be important at times but come on. If we got him and say Kreider/Palmeri I would be really excited.

You want a Cup, Foligno ups those odds.

Foligno brings grit, talent and is one tough cookie. If he's available, you make the phone call.

His 2.85 isn't going to get in the way of the bruins resigning anyone.

2nd line Rw will do that.

You have Krug, Debrusk, Grzelcyk waiting for new contracts.
On top of the new 2nd line Rw.

On top of it Foligno+Kase 5.6M it's a helluva challenge.
Next season, Heinen + Miller + Moore moved for picks. How much comes off the cap?

Also, when do Seidenberg & Beleskey come off the cap?

Any interest in Bogosian? He's about to have his contract terminated by Buffalo. Right shot defenseman with size and snarl... He hasn't been able to live up to his $6m contract but at $700k he could be a good depth option.

Chara - McAvoy
Krug - Carlo
Grzelcyk - Bogosian

His presence could also free up Lauzon as a trade chip.

Use "Lauzon as a trade chip???" I'm surprised at you.

Getting slapped around again in the playoffs wont help them win.

Neither will their Rw group.

Lack of talent at Rw has been by far their biggest issue.

Too late, after next season.

That's not a lot, and Miller already is on ltir, then there's the Backes retention.

Let's say Palmieri 4.6M, Krug from 5.2M to 8M range, Debrusk from ELC to 4-6M depending on term, Grzelcyk from 1.4M to 3-4M if he stays.
Kase was brought in at 2.6M.

I so..... ng hope Sunday is the say Sweeney goes for The Cup move.

Siedenberg and Beleskey which is a little over 3M come off the books at the end of this season!
