Martin McGuire on 98.5 FM was on that flight and said the day it happened that the Gally's took off their shirts in the plane to sort of get comfortable with the Florida weather apparently. I know, it sounds quite odd.

That's just awesome :) I remember I skipped that episode because it had the Leafs game highlights, glad I saw through it now. Gallagher trolling him was priceless.

I just noticed Gally is poking both Prust and the Ranger in the balls with sticks:shakehead That is not right thing to do after scoring. Also no wonder he's so slick using two sticks instead of one.

I think that's an optical illusion. The black stick is the Rangers player's stick and you can clearly see that he is too far from Prust to actually poke him in the nuts. Seems like he's playing with 1 stick too. (The norm in the NHL)

To give you guys an idea just how good Galchenyuk is going to be, here is a list of previous OHL high picks and their pts/game before their draft. Due to his injury, I used this season for Chucky but it's the same because he basically missed a year.

Galchenyuk: 61 pts in 33 games (1.85 PPG)
Yakupov: 69 pts in 42 games (1.64 PPG)
Landeskog: 66 pts in 53 games (1.25 PPG)
Hall: 106 pts in 57 games (1.86 PPG)
Seguin: 106 pts in 63 games (1.68 PPG)
Tavares: 104 pts in 56 games (1.86 PPG)

I think your cherry picking a little there Nicko, All those guys mentioned would have better numbers with another year in junior.

No you can't just pick and choose your stats. He had 61 pts after his draft. Learn how to use stats.

I know but because he was injured, it's like his development stopped. So the year after the draft was actually his second.

Anyway, just some stats I'm throwing around... doesn't mean he'll be better than this guys.
