That was a dangerous knee-on-knee on Varone. He draws the penalty. Laval headed to the PP. Former Hab prospect Didier heading to the box.

Loved seeing Evans and the rest of them go after Varone's defense.

Providence sneaks it passed Primeau. Tie game.
Looked like goalie interference to me. May even have gone off a Providence blade. I only have one angle on the replay.

Does anyone else have a problem with picking out the jersey numbers on the back of the Rocket jersey's?

The red stripe goes through the middle of the numbers on the Laval jersey and on AHLTV it blends together.

Real good period by Laval. Lagace made some real good saves to keep his team alive. Despite having tied the game, Laval was the better team in the second period.

Leskinen is intriguing and who knows, might be a call up at some point.

How’s he doing this game?

As long as I hear Brook and Poehling doing good/better I'm happy. Everyone else is gravy at this point.

They are both getting into the groove of things. Primeau is doing well, as well. And Evans is one of their more reliable player. And although he doesn't get as much fanfare, Vejdemo is looking good, as well. Also, even if Leskinen wasn't drafted, he's still young enough to be considered a prospect, and he's looked good, too.

Solid game. Nothing that jumps out at you. But you can see what Habs saw in him to sign him. Mobile, smart, good defensively, isn't afraid to hit, seems to also find shooting lanes to get the puck to the net.

You gotta make those count boys. Barber with a breakaway and Lagace with the save. Providence owes any kind of point they get tonight to Lagace.
