Bills are all but done.

Steelers remain out of playoff picture but control playoff destiny. They win out, they are in. Jets will be huge Broncos fans next week because it sure won't be the Ravens, Browns and Raiders who can beat 1 of KC/PIT.

If all 3 teams are 10-6, KC is in regardless. NYJ/PIT for 6th seed comes down to which game the Jets lose. If it's DAL, the Jets are in due to conference record. If it's NE or BUF, the Steelers are the 6th seed due to superior common games record.

Jags are going to be 1 game back when NE beats HOU tonight, lol. And they host the horrible Falcons next, with a visit to NO in week 16. Then it's a game in HOU. They could do this.

Only way in for the Bills is if Pittsburgh loses to Denver next week (entirely possible), then also slips up in Cleveland or Baltimore (not bloody likely). They also need the Jets to lose one more game before week 17 (again, possible with NE on the schedule)

Also worth noting in your scenario at 10-6 is if NYJ's loss is not to DAL or NE and PIT's loss IS to Cleveland, then common opponents would be tied and it's go to strength of victory.

That's such a shafting to the Jets haha. It basically comes down to the Steelers getting the Browns twice while the Jets get the Pats twice.

The Jets got shafted so much they get to play the NFC East and AFC South vs. teams like the Broncos, Chiefs, Seahawks, and Cardinals...

Denver might be in trouble.

If Jets, Chiefs, Broncos, Steelers and Bengals are 11-5, the Broncos are OUT of the playoffs IF the Bengals beat them in week 16.

If you want to get even crazier and have the Pats finish 11-5 too, Denver is still out.

1st Seed - Kansas City
AFC West Champ (Wins tie break over Denver based on best win percentage in division games.)
Wins tie break over New England and Cincinnati based on best win percentage in conference games.
2nd Seed - Cincinnati
AFC North Champ (Wins tie break over Pittsburgh based on best win percentage in conference games.)
Wins tie break over New England based on best win percentage in conference games.
3rd Seed - New England
AFC East Champ (Wins tie break over NY Jets based on strength of victory.)
5th Seed - Pittsburgh
Wins tie break over NY Jets based on best win percentage in common games. Wins tie break over Denver based on best win percentage in conference games.
6th Seed - NY Jets
Wins tie break over Denver based on best win percentage in conference games.

Lot of people sleeping on the Jets. Revis is back and that offense has really come into their own. So good that Bowles wants Fitzpatrick back next season (only 11 int's thrown, what the hell?)

If Denver couldn't get their **** together against Oakland, i'd be really concerned if i were Broncos fan. They close out against the Cowboys, Pats, and Bills. All 3 of those are winnable. Denver closes out against a tougher skid; Pittsburgh, Cincy and the Chargers.

AFC is getting really interesting. For most of the year it looked like NE and CIN were the teams to beat. With Dalton out, NE banged up, all of a sudden KC and PIT look like two teams that could meet in the AFCCG. Even the Jets would be a difficult matchup for anyone.

My money is on a NE-PIT AFCCG, but nothing would surprise me at this point.

1. NE
2. CIN
3. DEN
4. IND/HOU
5. PIT
6. KC

2. Broncos (12-4) ... Lose week 15 vs. Steelers, Win week 16 over Bengals
3. Bengals (12-4)
4. Texans (8-8)
5. Chiefs (10-6)
6. Steelers (10-6)

Something's messed up with the playoff machine on ESPN right now. Keeps giving NYJ the division if they win out and NE loses out on common games. As far as I can tell their common games would be 10-4 each (NE beat PIT, lost to DEN where NYJ beat CLE, lost to OAK in their non-common games). NE actually clinches at least a tie in strength of victory if MIA loses tonight, and their strength of schedule is guaranteed to be ahead.

Meaning a Miami loss tonight gives New England the division.

Major separation this week as the 7-5 teams won and the 6-6 teams lost. A ninth loss now officially eliminates you, except for the AFC South, although Jacksonville CAN be eliminated from that discussion too if the Colts beat Houston.

AFTER WEEK 14: (x = clinched wild card, y = clinched division, z = clinched first round bye, Z = clinched #1 seed):

1. y-NE 11-2
2. CIN 10-3 (wins conference record tiebreaker vs DEN)
3. DEN 10-3
4. IND 6-7 (wins H2H tiebreaker vs HOU)
5. KC 8-5 (wins conference record tiebreaker vs NYJ and PIT)
6. NYJ 8-5 (wins conference record tiebreaker vs NYJ)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
7. PIT* 8-5
8. OAK 6-7 (wins conference record tiebreaker vs BUF and HOU)
9. BUF 6-7 (wins H2H tiebreaker vs HOU)
10. HOU* 6-7
11. JAX 5-8 (wins H2H tiebreaker vs MIA)

ELIMINATED: MIA, BAL, SD, CLE, TEN

NYJ does not control their own destiny despite being in a playoff spot currently. PIT will pass them if they win out. Of the non-playoff teams, PIT and HOU currently do control their own destiny.

CLINCHING SCNEARIOS:
- NE clinches first round bye with a win + a DEN loss

- CIN clinches division with PIT loss (will win conference record tiebreaker at 10-6 if PIT wins out from here)
- CIN clinches wild card with win OR with a NYJ loss (CIN has a better common opponents record than NYJ and no one else in a potential 3 way tie has the same conference record so NYJ can not finish ahead of CIN in any tiebreaker at 10-6 where both teams lose this week)

- DEN wins division with win and KC loss
- DEN clinches playoffs with a win (They beat PIT so will finish ahead of them)

ELIMINATION SCENARIOS:

- JAX is eliminated with a loss and an IND win (Will guarantee that they cannot win division as IND will clinch a better divisional record than them.)

- BUF is eliminated with a loss and either a PIT or a NYJ win (Buffalo loses all tiebreakers to KC so can't catch up to them even if they also lose)

- OAK is eliminated with a loss and two of the following: (1)KC win, (2)PIT win, (3)NYJ win (Oakland wins all tiebreakers so it will take two teams picking up their 9th win and Oakland picking up their 8th loss to eliminate them.

CAN GAIN CONTROL OF THEIR OWN DESTINY IN WEEK 15:

- NYJ with win and a KC loss OR a PIT loss
- HOU with win

CAN LOSE CONTROL OF THEIR OWN DESTINY IN WEEK 15:

- IND with loss
- KC with loss, PIT win, and NYJ win
- PIT with loss (PIT would lose a tiebreaker to NYJ at 10-6 by conference record if both teams lose this week and then both win out)
- HOU with loss

Scobee sucked because Heinz Field is hellish for a kicker to deal with.

people seem to forger Suisham sucked **** when he first played with the Steelers too. Takes a while for a kicker to adapt to it.

Ah please shut up already Pats fans.
You've got one of the best QB of all time.
I can't wait to see how far can the bandwagon fans drop when Brady retires and the pats fans finally realize how hard it is to win with a normal QB. (See Matt Cassel as reminder.)

>Jet fans acting like they're relevant when the Patriots aren't good.

Top lol. Enjoy 8-8dom like we Dolphins fans and the Bills fans do.

And citing Matt Cassel as how hard it is to win with a "normal" QB is a bad example, considering how New England squeezed an 11-5 season out of him.
