I liked it at first but seeing Zboril and Vaakanainen this close it’s frustrating. The contract can be moved but Sweeney won’t trade him now lol.

1) This is one preseason game. Moore has looked better than UV for the majority of the preseason.

2) I like both UV and Zboril, but they have ZERO NHL experience.

3) Chara is like 85 years old, and Krug has only one more year after this on his deal.

There is room for UV, Zboril and Moore on the B’s blue line in the near future.

Well, if Stempniak is a genuine option for the 13th forward, I think he’s earned it. Seems like a good fit.

I like Winnik too...but more as a full time 4th line guy, instead of a guy like Acciari. Although, Acciari has looked good too. Some tough calls.

I just like Winnik’s size element. We could def use a bit more of that. We have plenty of hitters, but small.

He has been good. His skating needs to be better. It would elevate the rest of his game.

Right and people must be forgetting when all our defense men were injured and Tommy Cross was playing meaningful minutes. Moore is a valuable commodity with his cap hit and versatility.

This is the first game I’ve watched so I don’t know how they looked before this

You have to start somewhere. Vaakanainen has been playing against adults since he was 16 or 17.

I know, I’m impatient. Maybe Moore will change my mind, but Vaak’s played great tonight.

Not only this, but Moore only makes $2.75m. He could easily be moved if there are too many LHD at some point. And I haven’t even brought up the impending SEA expansion draft. If Moore is an unnecessary commodity then, he can be exposed, allowing the B’s to protect a more valuable player.
