He’s not “small”, he’s like 5’10” and weighs 215 pounds.

I can’t remember who said it, but one of the Hockey East coaches said Acciari was the hardest hitter in the conference. This is in addition to being voted Defensive Player of the Year in 2015.

Acciari Named Hockey East Defensive Forward Of The Year - Providence College

Let’s be realistic. Acciari is on the bubble of making the team. He probably will. But let’s not trot out the college coaches who say he hits like Scott Stevens...haha...to pump his tires. A little overboard.

His defensive player of the year accolades are a nice memory. But in the NHL...he’s a mobile hitter.

A true plus defensive game in the NHL is something I hope he develops. A good goal.

I can’t stand Jack, but I have been watching a lot of preseason hockey and there are much worse announcers out there.
His overused sayings are already getting annoying. I knew it was going to be a long season when Marchand hit someone and Jack said Marchand wanted to be the hitter and not the hitee lol

I think the new lighting looks great on TV. No reflections on the ice, tho that could be cause our ice blows anyways but its equally lit in all ends. Some arenas are so dark behind the blue lines it seems.

It’s really hard for me to take pre season hockey too seriously.

Like “physical stuff in front of the net” stuff...a lot of these guys are in second gear.

Yeah you can tell everyone’s playing at like 60% minus a few guys trying to make the lineup playing 90%.

Nobody’s out there giving 100-110% and it shows. Preseasons always sloppy hockey. Players trying stuff they normally wouldn’t like dekes or passes. Slower skating etc.

It’s a lot different brand of hockey.

I needed a laugh.

You can write Acciari’s name in pen on the final roster.

He’s a lock.

JFK has been a disappointment the last 2-3 games imo. Just chasing and rarely has possesion of the puck. Doesnt win battles along the boards

I love that you can't see the reflection of the ribbon on the ice anymore. That used to really annoy me.
