Was looking a bit at Bruins schedule today because I was buying tickets for game on 17th and noticed Bruins do not play more home games in any month till January and have a West Coast swing 7 games in to the season. The games early will be huge I imagine with clear advantage as season moves along.

I’ll be at this one. Should be a fun game. Curious of the roster they are planning. As much as I love the vets, rookies and prospects is what I am looking forward to seeing up close.

They used to always do this when the circus was in Boston. I think it really helps to have that swing early in the year for team bonding.

From the middle of February until the end of March, TD Garden is very busy arena.

Disney on Ice is the most profitable event at the Garden and that goes all the way back to the Ice Follies. Then there is the commitment to high school hockey and basketball, Hockey East and NCAA events.

As a long time employee told me, the Bruins are a TENANT at TD Garden as Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs owns the Bruins but the family business owns the Garden. We on the outside don't see the distinction but the family does.

In the coming months 'The Hub on Causeway' will become a reality and it will have a bowling alley, a supermarket, a movie theater megaplex and the largest sports bar East of the Mississippi River. I'm not sure I can handle this.

Looks like I'll be leaving work early today to catch this one. I'll be of course "working from home".

The center battles will be interesting. Hopefully someone steps up and we get a little more clarity after this one.

Proof Cassidy has been reading HF Boards. :sarcasm:

Ironically, the last time we saw Backes playing center was also a game vs. Detroit way back in 2017 very close to the end of the Julien era.

I thought Backes centered Marchy and Pasta for a few games at the beginning of last season when Bergy was out?

That was the season before last. Backes played with them late in preseason and early in the regular season before Bergeron returned.

Wait. It says NESN in the title, which seems to insinuate the game being on television around here.

I refuse to believe it. Will reserve my excitement until 7.
