The Bachelor has a cult heterosexual male following, kind of like My Little Pony has the Bronies. Bachbros maybe? Or Brochelors?

A guy I work with used to do a fully legit Bachelor fantasy game. Him and his buddies would have a huge draft blowout and then get together every week and have a party to watch the show. I really gave it to him anytime it got brought up .

Maple Leaf, Three Muses, Spotted Cat, etc. So many great venues.

Skip Bourbon St completely, except for grabbing a sandwich from Killer Po Boys, which is a back counter inside the Erin Rose Bar on Conti, one block off Bourbon.

Also, skip Cafe du Monde. You can get better beignets without the lines even without leaving the Quarter.

We went down for a wedding, so we didnt have a ton of free time but we definitely preferred places off of Bourbon Street. We did go out one night to Ticklers which is a Piano bar that had live music, wasn't that bad in comparison to the rest of the block.

The only Po Boy i had was from random place near the Casino. I was completely unimpressed (Fried Shrimp Po Boy), We did go to Cafe Du Monde and waited in the takeout line which was still around a half hour wait. It tastes just like a funnel cake...i wouldn't wait in line for it again. It seems like New Orleans version of Pats/Genos.

We went to Merils restaurant one night (one of Emeril's spots) and the Calamari was phenomenal. I also got a Pork Steak with cracklins and grits, amazing.

The reception was above a restaurant called Cochon, they had Gumbo, A Pig/Pork, Boudin Balls, Mac/Cheese, Fried Bread Pudding, buffet style...I went back like 3 times.

Then we went to a Taco house off magazine street called Rum House which had the best tacos i've ever had in my life.

Our Hotel (Old Number 77 Hotel) had a really good restaurant in the lobby that a Top Chef opened up, food was great but the highlight was the drinks....they served the best White Russian i've ever had.

I did want to check out Mothers which is a tourist spot a half block away but the line was out the door all day every day.

Ended the trip at The Ruby Slipper for breakfast which had great biscuits.

That's a bit much...lol.

It's the 1 show that my wife asks to watch as I always have control of the remote and even then, if we miss it we don't DVR it like some sad people do....lol.

And of course, I prefer the Bachelor just to see all the crazy ass women out there! I have only seen 1 year of Bachelor in Paradise and it was funny as hell with lots of hookups and craziness.

That is unconscionable.

While I do want to see the new Mission Impossible movie, I still think the one I remember the most is the first one. Seriously, I really enjoyed the hell out of the first one.

Just saw Baby Driver and thought it was just ok. IMO the story was very odd from where the movie seemed to be heading to where it ended up. It felt like there was 2 scripts written, with two totally different storylines, and both were mashed together.

Ok, that's funny because I'm guessing you mean Calcasieu and they're catering my wedding too. I'm glad it went well.

Cochon and their casual place next door (Cochon Butcher) are my favorite restaurants in the city. The first time we went to Butcher, I Fed Exed some cured meats home. Really, all of Donald Link's places are amazing.

You're 100% right on the Pat's/Geno's comp. It's the default listed on travel websites and they've marketed aggressively -- you probably saw their beignet mix for sale in half the stores you entered. Theirs were way too doughy and I didn't like them at all.

What's the next blockbuster movie slated to come out? The next movie that I'm looking forward to is Venom.
After Mission Impossible there's nothing major until Fantastic Beasts 2 in November. I hope Venom is good and will probably see it in the theater but my hopes aren't high. At least it has no real competition for awhile.

The Rock is an amazing wrestler, and a very good actor (NOT GREAT).

The Rock -> nod to his father, the wrestler Rocky Johnson. The more you know.

New Orleans is definitely near the top of my to-visit places. I've heard nothing but great things about it except for being right in the middle of the Mardi Gras crowd.

One aside, Danko: the word 'boudin' stood out in your list of food. Boudin is French for blood pudding.

reality tv appeals to the most simplistic interests that can't be avoided. Im sure at one time everyone has had a reality tv show that they were addicted to , even how shameful they are to admit it.

My current reality show is season 3 of Thrasher's King of the Road on Viceland. Three teams of professional skateboarders go on a road trip and complete a bunch of random challenges for points to see who reigns supreme. It's fantastic if anyone is looking for something to watch.

my favoite reality show has to be Trailer Park Boys. I didn't realize how behind the times Canada really was until I watched it. Very revealing.
