His initials are CP. That's right. The amazing player on the Canadiens. You know who it is. Corey Perry.
Now and forever
Kuch (pacing for 35+ points), Vasy (crazy GSAx), Price (crazy shorthanded stats), and Point (can't stop scoring) have been the standout players these playoffs. Vasy has the advantage in the fancy stats but price has come up big in big moments and stands out on his own team while vasy is sharing the spotlight
Hedman, Pietrangelo, Fluery, Pageau, barzal have all been good but clearly below those guys in my eyes.
Price
Point (even though I prefer Kucherov, but they will give it to Point)
Kucherov
Pietrangelo
Point is currently just 3 goals away from tying the active player record of most goals in a playoff run. If he were to exceed that number there's definitely a case to be made for him over Kucherov if the gap in points doesn't get humongous. I think Kucherov is still ahead as of now but the gap is definitely not big.I don't see a way they give it to Point over Kucherov as of today. Kuch has 8 more points, that's a really big gap for only 15 gasmes. Kucherov is also the bigger name, who also led playoff in points last year without the recognition then. Point is great and could make a run for it still with more goals/Kuch slowing, but as of today this is clearly Kucherov ahead imo.
I'd agree that Carey Price is #1 overall - with Kucherov not far behind at #2.

It would all depend on how the finals panned out. Last year I think Hedman was Tampa's MVP through rounds 1, 2 and 3, but Point had better finals and they ended up pretty much tied in the Conn Smythe votes. The all-time playoff goal record is 19. Point has 12. If he ties/surpasses that, that's the very significant milestone.
15 goals would be great - but I don't think it would be that significant if he's still this far behind Kucherov in overall points.

If Habs go to the final Price wins it even if they lose the series
Vgk - refs
Tbl - vasilevskiy
Nyi - tbd
Mtl - price i guess but the play in front of him deserves credit
Watch them giving it to Point.
Point has every big goal in this series ... Kuch is a pp specialist. It's point by a landslide.MTL - Price
VGK - Pietrangelo
NYI - Pageau (potentially Barzal if he keeps producing)
TB - Kucherov
Varlamov can share the trophy with Pulock.Varlamov would be my pick for NYI.
Point deserves some love for TB, he is leading the entire playoffs in goals by a good margin, and his defensive play is off the charts.

PP specialist or not this dude has 24 pts already.Point has every big goal in this series ... Kuch is a pp specialist. It's point by a landslide.
