That was an earned Shutout, none of this 19shots on goal defensive shutdown. He was peppered all night.

Carolina looks just terrible. Their D is pure **** and they have no goal tending. They have no offensive depth beyond Semin / Tlusty / Franken-Staal.

Nice to see the guys circle the wagons with only 5D.

I was forced to look the Canes stream and the guys make me laugh pretty hard, said after 2 periods it should have been 5-0 for the Canes and that we only win because of Bishop Even with Garon it would have only been 3-0 at max after 2 periods. And we could have easily scored 2 or 3 more goals.

So thrilled to see Bish with the shutout for you guys tonight. He makes it easy to love him, doesn't he? And he's consistent. Of course he'll let in a goal or two now and then that makes you shake your head, but every goalie does.

I remember the game where Cedrick Desjardins was pretty close to a shutout in his debut against the Canadiens. Props to Bishop on the shutout tonight, very well played.
